Terms

Payment & Cancellations

50% Deposit will be required on reservation. Balance is required 14 days prior to arrival.

Full pre-payment will be required at the time of booking for reservations made within 14 days of arrival.

Please submit proof of payment via email
when paying. Please note that overseas transactions require clearance and can only be confirmed once payment has been received into our account.
Rates and dates are subject to change without prior notice.
Only written cancellations will be accepted; please ensure you receive an
acknowledgment of cancellation.
You agree that if a cancellation is received:
1. 2 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total fee will be refunded.
2. Less than 48 hours prior to arrival, 0% of the total fee will be refunded.
3. If any student cancels after the training schedules have been provided, a R350 admin fee will be charged.
Any Student who fails to arrive, for any reason whatsoever including illness and has not notified the Academy, will automatically forfeit the total
monies paid and no liability by doing so shall attach to the school whatsoever. Above mentioned rates are inclusive of tuition, tea, coffee.
All accommodation, beverages, transfers, breakfast, dinners, excursions, personal expenses, tips and gratuities are excluded.

School Cancellation

If for any reason the SYCA is unable to fulfil a booking or a vessel becomes unseaworthy for any reason whatsoever, the SYCA will inform the
Student immediately! the knowledge is available. No liability shall attach itself to the SYCA beyond the refund of the full fee paid by the student(s)
or unused portions thereof.

Accommodation
Accommodation is available at our Superyacht Training Academy, V&A Waterfront, for students participating in any courses held at the centre.
All rates are quoted and invoiced in South African Rand (ZAR). Accommodation quoted separately and subject to availability.

Travel Insurance.
All students are obliged to take out their own travel insurance. Please refer to our terms and conditions for comprehensive insurance
requirements.

Transfers
Transfers to and from the airports can be arranged on request at an additional cost. All transfers must be arranged prior to arrival.
Departing and arrival times to be arranged via e-mail.
