The Essential Package is a structured online foundation for aspiring and early-career yacht crew. It brings together four core courses covering the knowledge every crew member should understand, regardless of department: how the yachting industry works, safety at sea, employment contracts, and your rights and wellbeing onboard.

Developed with industry expertise, this self-paced package helps you understand what is expected of you before you step onboard. You will build practical awareness of yacht careers and professional standards, learn the principles that support a strong onboard safety culture, understand the commitments you make when accepting employment, and know the protections and responsibilities that apply to you as a seafarer.
