Course Overview

This 5-day course places great emphasis on the essentials of good service as well as giving you the theoretical and practical skills necessary to be an active crew member on board a superyacht and is regarded as the first step toward a career in superyachts. It requires a blend of responsibility, maturity and self-discipline and a good sense of humour and provides students an opportunity to learn new skills and gain confidence. Students are taught a variety of skills including flower arranging, ironing, interior care, silver service and other guest service techniques, including wine appreciation. Successful graduates can confidently accept any Steward/ess assignment on superyachts anywhere in the world.

The Steward/ess Training Course is the perfect entry-level course into the world of superyachts. Successful completion of this course will allow you to work as a Stewardess or Steward on superyachts of any size anywhere in the world.

This course is ideally suited for people who have a leaning toward guest service and hospitality but need not have formal hospitality experience.  The course will provide you with multiple skills and professional knowledge of your role onboard as a Superyacht Stewardess or Steward.

Syllabus

5 Days

Practical work is done throughout the duration of the course and makes up about 85% of the course. All practical work is done to a time schedule.
